More Than Just Martial Arts

The physical training of martial arts--balance, strength, flexibility, preconception , stamina--contribute to a healthy body.

The training on mental focus translates to kids who pay more attention in general and who learn better, especially subjects that are intricate and require deeper thinking.

But those are not all. They are not even the most important part of what we teach.

Life-skills

Courtesy, perseverance, resilience, discipline, self-direction: these skills are practiced regularly in class to support you in equipping your children with what they need to be confident and respectful citizens of society.

Learning habits

We teach students not just what to learn but how. Breaking a project into smaller parts, being patient with focused repetitions, learning how to solve problems: these are skills that transfer to being lifelong learners.

Long-term success

At Axon Martial Arts, we are careful to balance meeting current needs with contributing to long-term success. The habits built and life-skills acquired while learning TKD will belong to the students forever.
