Normally, families with children who are independent spend part of the class with their peers. Families with younger children spend most of class time training together.
To ensure social distancing during the pandemic, families train in their own pods. Since instructors can't hold pads for students, it is great that parents can do that for their children and not pause this portion of their training.
A family of 2 to 7 pays tuition for only 2 members; i.e. if 2 members of a family are training, the rest of the family can train without paying additional tuition. Families 8 and larger will pay tuition for 4 members.

Do I have to test to advance my rank like my children do?
It is your decision whether to test. However, I encourage you to go through the same processes as your children. That way, you model behavior and attitudes about learning and consistency and resilience. These are golden teaching moments that family classes offer and it would be a shame if you don't make use of them.

Please consult with your physician but if you're cleared to practice Tae Kwon Do, then we can always make adjustments to fit your needs.
